Privacy Policy
Effective July 6, 2026
This policy explains what personal data Business JetPack collects when you visit our website or contact us, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We keep this in plain language on purpose.
Who we are
Business JetPack is the party responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us at the address and email in the Contact section below.
Personal data we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Information you give us. When you complete a contact form or the Let’s Talk questions, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company or website, your role, your rough monthly marketing spend, and anything you write about your situation.
- Information collected automatically. When you browse the site we collect standard technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring URL, and the time and date of your visit. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies.
- Marketing and attribution data. We record how you reached us, including campaign parameters in the link you followed (for example utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) and advertising click identifiers (for example gclid, fbclid), so we can understand which sources bring the right people to us.
Why we use your data
We use personal data for these purposes:
- To respond to your inquiry, review whether we are a fit, and reach out to you.
- To verify that the contact details you gave us are reachable, including verifying email deliverability and confirming your phone number with a one-time code.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website.
- To measure and improve our marketing, including which channels and campaigns perform.
- To meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations.
Third parties we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with service providers who help us run the site and our marketing. These fall into the following categories:
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the site. This involves cookies and the collection of usage and device data by Google.
- Advertising. We use Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising tools to measure ad performance and reach relevant audiences. These tools may set cookies and receive data about your interactions with our site and ads.
- Session replay. If we use a session replay or heatmap tool to see how pages are used, it may record page interactions such as clicks, scrolls, and mouse movement. We configure these tools to mask form-field contents where the tool supports it. If we are not running such a tool, no session replay data is collected.
- Call tracking. If we use a call tracking service to attribute phone inquiries to their source, it may collect the caller’s phone number, call time, and call recording or transcript where permitted by law and disclosed at the point of the call. If we are not running call tracking, no call tracking data is collected.
- Operational providers. We use providers for email delivery, phone verification, form processing, and hosting to carry out the purposes described above.
Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies for the analytics and advertising purposes described above. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, and to receive a portable copy of it. To make any of these requests, email us at the address in the Contact section. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and respond within the time the law allows.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers can send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track signal. Where the law requires us to treat a GPC signal as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal data for targeted advertising, we honor it. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising through the settings offered by Google and Meta.
Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as needed for the purposes described here, to meet legal and record-keeping requirements, and to resolve disputes. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or remove the information that identifies you.
Children
Our site is for business owners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page.
